Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer, and model. The actor gained fame following his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has appeared in twenty feature films, such the The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Additionally, he's been a part of 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma since the age of 14 old. He was able to get rid of his cancer within two years. However, the early treatment had severe effects on the development of his body and health. After he began acting, financial security was his aim. He had experienced the poverty of his youth. I've lived so frugally since I was a kid that I'm now to have that financial security or my life feels a bit uncontrollable for me he stated in an interview. He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to tackle the problem of bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. In real life and on the screen, DJ would love to play dad. He admits that Directors do not assign me to those roles. He would like to become a father as he is in a position to dedicate less time for his job and more to the child he has.
